Direct Personal Clients

A Direct Personal Client is one on whose instructions and behalf Wigley & Associates Inc. incorporates an International Business Company. Such client is in Direct Contact with Wigley & Associates Inc. personally or through a professional intermediary (such as a Lawyer or an Accountant etc.).

General Information:

1) Please list the documents provided after the incorporation. Are the documents apostilled?

Response: The documents provided are: Certificate of Incorporation (electronic copy), The Articles of Incorporation (electronic copy), By Laws and Appointment of first Director(s) of the company. Hard copies of the original documents can be forwarded upon request by courier (cost of courier service not included). Wigley & Associates Inc. can provide additional documents such as Certificate of Good Standing etc. upon request for a price dependent on the document requested. The documents are ‘sealed’ by the Company Registry. We can arrange to have them apostilled in Anguilla for a fee of US$70.00 per apostille.

2) Do Directors details have to be disclosed upon incorporation?

Response: No. The identity and details of Directors do not have to be disclosed to the Companies Registry upon incorporation. All information relating to the Directors of an International Business Company are kept strictly confidential by Wigley & Associates Inc. and is protected by the Confidential Relationships Act 1981.

3) What does it cost to have the documents notarised?

Response: Notarising documents cost US$25.00 per notary.

4) What are the requirements in relation to the beneficial owners of IBCs incorporated in Anguilla? Suppose we wish to form a company. Which details exactly about the owners would you need?

Response: The following information must be provided by or on behalf of Direct Personal Clients.

a) full name and names used together with the reason for any aliases;
b) date and place of birth;
c) nationality;
d) current permanent residential address;
e) telephone and fax number
f) occupation and name of employer or, if self employed, the nature of the business;
g) the reason for establishing the account and the nature of the business to be conducted;
h) estimated level of turnover expected for the account; and
i) the source of funds.

In addition two references from a bank, attorney OR the police authorities in the home jurisdiction of the Direct Personal Client should be obtained and forwarded to Wigley & Associates Inc.

Alternatives procedures exist for Approved Introducers. Professional intermediaries should contact our office to ascertain if they qualify as same.
